Byron Delk

Byron is married to his high school sweetheart, the former Jaylene Tharp of Las Cruces.  They have two sons, Cody Joe (10) and Caleb (8).  Byron has his own business and is known in Southern New Mexico as the “Axle Surgeon”. 

Byron specializes in replacing worn or damaged spindles on the drive axles of big trucks or trailers and Jaylene is the instructional coach at Dona Ana Elementary School. Byron plays bass guitar for The Delk Band and can also make a hand with his fiddle & Rhythm guitar as well.  Byron and Mark have learned to read each other’s intentions and together they are the solid foundation on which our music is produced.
